Prosper With Me is a blog where I like to share wealth building strategies as well as get feedback on wealth building ideas. I was contacted by a friend who introduced a program called Passport to Wealth. I want to be clear and state that I am not a member of Passport to Wealth and do not have a hidden agenda to signup everyone who is reading this post. I actually would like to hear your praise or criticism of this company. I think it’s important to look at this from an investment perspective and see if the company is sound and legit. I am also going to see if the Better Business Bureau has any info on Passport to Wealth. My friend has sent me an email almost everyday with impressive statistics regarding income and number of closed sales. Some of the emails claim $40,000 in just 4 months. Seems to good to be true? What are your thoughts on Passport to Wealth? Does this company have a solid business plan and great products. In looking at the companies website, I noticed several books that you receive when you buy-in. Are these actually legitimate ebooks that have great content?
In order to become a director or Passport to Wealth rep, you need to spend $997. This allows you access to resell the ebooks and signup other reps. One of the first questions I noticed was that you defer your first two $997 sign-ups. Your first two sales go to your direct upline and you must wait for your third sale to make $997. Based on the emails I have received from my friend, it appears that they are very eager to train and do some hand holding for newbies. But what happens after I make my first two sales? Why would I still receive training from a support group? How does my Passport to Wealth upline continue to make money? The website does not answer any of these questions. My friend’s upline does hold three conference calls a week and I am planning to attend with my questions. I do hope the calls are open for discussion about Passport to Wealth and not a scripted phone message.
Again, this blog is a way to share ideas about building wealth and I would enjoy your thoughts on Passport to Wealth as a business opportunity.
