Free golf and free golf balls? A Passive Income opportunity
Who wouldn’t want to play golf for free and receive free golf balls? Ask your buddies how much they pay for Titleist Pro V1 golf balls. $2-3 a piece, maybe more. Would you like to play golf for free and find all the golf balls you can carry home? One of the main reasons I started this blog is to have fun and be creative with passive income opportunities that will save you and your friends hard earned cash. In order for this to work, it will take some initiative on your part. Do you like to play golf, but find it hard to justify spending $20-$200 on a round of golf? Would you consider playing golf for free, a source of passive income? Are you ready?
We are at at time economically that a lot of local golf courses are going to cut back on maintenance, groundskeepers, and staff. Water, fertilizer, gas, electricity, and staff, are all high costs for golf courses. Do you have a golf course where you know the superintendent or groundskeeper? If not, no problem. This is where you need to be creative. Remember your goal is free golf and access to free golf balls.
Your local golf course probably has water or a pond, and if not, will have some other hazards. Get permission first from your local golf course and offer them a deal to sell golf balls. Better yet, trade in your found golf balls for free rounds of golf. The golf course has to pay staff or private companies to harvest the used golf balls. Why not save money and utilize a fellow golfer? Try it out. Next time you are at your local golf course, ask if you can trade golf balls for a free round of golf. A free round of golf will cost the golf course nothing, and they benefit from some great golf balls to resell. Did I mention that mint or nicely used Titelist Pro V1 will fetch $1-2 or more at a golf course? You can also resell them on ebay and make some good money as well. If your golf course won’t budge on golf balls, try another option.
Does your golf course clubhouse have a tv, beverages, and air conditioning? Perfect! You were going to be watching golf on tv anyway right? Wouldn’t you love to tell your wife or husband that you are going to work instead of playing golf. See if your golf course would be willing to trade an hours work for a round of golf? I’m sure your course is busy early in the morning and could use some help. It could be fun and you would have the entire afternoon free to play. I bet you could get creative and manage a few free rounds. In fact, some small courses may let you play for free whenever you want. Give it a try. All they can say is no. Wouldn’t you love to tell your spouse your golf games are free?
