New Layout and New Name: The Passive Dad

I’ve been working on a new template for my blog for several days and finally have settled on one. The template came from Eblogtemplates.com and took several hours to customize and create my custom header. Most of the time was spent finding the html code within the template that needed to be customized with my own information. Now that I have my new domain, ThePassiveDad.com, I’m looking into options for web hosts. For now, I’m going to keep the blog on blogger but am interested in other options. Let me know if you have any ideas. It can be overwhelming looking at all the host options and researching various plans. Seems like $6.95-$9.99 a month can get a site hosted with large server space and several email accounts. Blogger is free, and I wont’ upgrade until I have enough blog passive income to cover this cost.
I also have a new email account established for this blog. I created a free account through Google: ThePassiveDad at Gmail dot com. If you are interested in knowing why some people don’t post the actual email address on the blog, Read an interesting article here on safe email options. You can save yourself from reading through tons of spam if you follow some simple steps. Never list your email address on your blog or website. Utilize a picture html or spell out the entire email address. This is an easy graphic you can post on your website or blog and it’s safe from web spiders. I actually don’t mind spiders, just not spam web spiders.
